Home bar stools come in different styles. Retro chrome and vinyl padded stools are becoming popular these days. But if you want to give your bar a more different or exotic look, then you can opt for bar stools made of bamboo or rattan.

In the end, the most important thing is just making sure you find an affordable, comfortable, classy looking, bar stool that fits your personal style. Very often you are going to find that white bar stools fit all of the criteria you have when shopping for your next bar chairs.

Another thing these western saddle bar or counter stools have in common is that, just like the horse saddles, they never feature a back rest, or the arm rests.

Wooden western bar stools would then be upholstered with that cowhide leather, using metal round top tacks, which would provide a look of a western bar stool strongly resembling a horse saddle. Sometimes, a saddle horn would be added to one side of the bar seat to complete such horse saddle bar stool.

Deciding where you're going to buy your stool from is also extremely important decision to make. You need to realise sometimes it isn't if the place you are buying from is the cheapest because of the quality of the service offered such as delivery (only important when you order online) the returns policy is something to keep your eye on as well. A lot (I mean nearly all!) do not actually allow you to assemble the bar stool(s) and then decide to return them and faults must be reporting within a few days of purchase, more often than not the supplier can send out replacing parts really easily. So you don't need to return the whole stool if only the base is scuffed. Please pay attention to their returns policy and warranty, otherwise you will end up not being able to return the bar stool you had just ordered or may not even be able to get replacement parts for free.

The contrast brought by bar stools makes a huge difference in the appearance, comfort and function of a house. There are many things to be taken into account when you have to decide what seats you want to buy. The most important decisions are those regarding the height of the stool bar, the size of the bar and the design style that you preffer.

One type of stool that is commonly used today is the home bar stool. This comes with a foot rest and is quite higher and narrower compared to other stools. And they are not just made for the home bar. The kitchen counter is also an ideal place to install these stools.

By far the most popular type of stool is the wooden bar stool. Wood is undeniably attractive, and it has a natural look. There are all kinds of different styles of wooden stools. Some are simply just 4 legs and a round seat. Others look just like a normal chair with longer legs. One of the best things about a wooden bar stool is that they can be stained or painted any color you want.

If you have the right patio bar stools, you can heighten the aesthetics of your outdoor bar. It would certainly be awkward if you have regular chairs or stools in your bar. Having matching patio stools would give your bar a more elegant look.

The last feature that you may want your bar stools to have is a back rest. Back support is ideal for homes with children to ensure they have proper support and do not accidentally fall off when seated. A stool with a back rest may also feel more comfortable and natural for most as the majority of people are already accustomed to sitting in chairs with back support. Contrarily, backless bar stools are more traditional in appearance and the staple for typical bar seating that you might find at a restaurant or a pub. They also encourage correct posture by forcing you to sit up right while aligning your spine. The option for a back ultimately comes down to comfort and what you are most familiar with.
